Learn Italian Language

There are so many reasons for learning Italian. The ones that come to mind straightaway are the lovely Italian people, so vivacious and warm. How good it would be to understand what they are saying as they stand there waving their arms in the air!

Then there's the fabulous food and wine. It would be useful to be able to read the menus in those typical Italian local restaurants where they don't supply an English translation so you know they are off the tourist trail. You have to learn the Italian language if you want to explore the local Italy.

The wonderful Italian Operas full of passion would make so much more sense if we could understand the words and to visit the Opera in Italy and be able to talk to the Italians sitting by you would be such a thrill. Speaking Italian allows you to mix and socialise with Italians and learn more about the country.

Talking of art, how much more interesting to visit cultural Florence, Venice, Rome and be able to understand the Italian Guide and read the fact sheets in Italian. If you are visiting those towns and want to ask directions or ask for advice on where to stay, eat or where to buy something; how can you do this if you can't speak Italian?
